Downtown Ace Supports Kids' Art Experience

SD Space-4Art, the East Village based multi-artist studio, hosted a workshop for kids on September 4, 2010 to introduce them to various artistic expression methods including the creation of a graffiti art mural.  Downtown Ace Hardware provided paint supplies to enhance the kids' experience.

Downtown Ace Supports Rock Church Fire Station Clean-up

Downtown Ace continues to support community spruce up events.  On August 27, 2010, members of Rock Church led by Ace Rewards member Thomas Lemaster painted Fire Station No. 19 as part of their DoSomething World Event.  Downtown Ace Hardware donated paint supplies towards the effort.

Ace Hardware Owners Paint School

On Friday, January 22, 2010, more than 75 Ace Hardware store owners from across the country who were attending a three-day annual conference in San Diego came together to give a fresh coat of paint to Little Italy's Washington Elementary School.  All of the paint and supplies were provided by Downtown Ace Hardware.

Led by Ace's home expert Lou Manfredini, the volunteers used Ace's Royal interior paint to brighten the walls of the school's library and administrative offices.  The paint project provided Ace an opportunity to give back to the downtown community that has so readily accepted one of Ace's newest stores, Downtown Ace Hardware.
